Zoom Now Available to 全民彩票 Students

Here's what you need to know as about how to access your new videoconferencing account.


Starting today, an 全民彩票 Zoom account is available to all current degree and full-time Continuing Studies students. This account will remain valid so long as students remain enrolled.

Having an 全民彩票 Zoom account will allow students to create and host their own Zoom meetings. Please note that a Zoom account is not required in order to participate in others鈥 Zoom meetings, such as a class run on Zoom by faculty.

To create a new 全民彩票 Zoom account:

    • First, download the latest version of the 鈥榋oom Client for Meetings鈥 application at . When the application is launched, the following screen will appear:
      • Click on 鈥淪ign In with SSO鈥 (circled in red, above). Once you have done so, the following "Sign In with SSO" pop-up window will appear:
      • PLEASE NOTE: If your pop-up window looks like the one below, please click on the 鈥淚 know the company domain鈥 link next to the 鈥淐ontinue鈥 button, and it will take you to the 鈥淪ign In with SSO鈥 window, as seen above.
      • Next, enter 鈥emilycarru鈥 into the 鈥淵our company domain鈥 field, as circled in red, below:
      • Click 鈥淐ontinue.鈥 You will be forwarded to 全民彩票鈥檚 Single Sign On (SSO) portal, where you can use your 全民彩票 credentials to sign in. Signing in will launch a form titled 鈥淚nformation to be Provided to Service鈥:
      • The second option which reads, 鈥淎sk me again if information to be provided to this service changes鈥 (circled in red, above) should already be selected. If not, select it now.

      • Click 鈥淎ccept,鈥 at the bottom right. This one-time consent is required as the final step to set-up your 全民彩票 Zoom account. This step ensures data used in 全民彩票鈥檚 Zoom accounts is stored in Canada and meets FIPPA regulations.

      • You鈥檙e ready to use Zoom!

      All new 全民彩票 Zoom accounts are hosted on Canadian data centres, and meet FIPPA requirements.

      Students with 全民彩票 Zoom accounts can record to their personal computers, but not to the cloud.
